Here in Louisiana, it's hard to believe there are states in the U.S. where live crawfish are actually illegal. Seems like a pretty easy issue to fix, right? Just eat em!
A flyer that's been circulating through Instagram and Facebook warns of a protest or riot in downtown Shreveport today in response to police-involved shootings in Baton Rouge and Minnesota.
While cresting at 38.75 feet seems high to us here in Northwest Louisiana, and it is, NWS Hydrologists predicted a crest to 41 feet. If the Red River in the north had reached that high, it would have been a record. The curent record, set in 2009, is 40.84.
