Larry Delanta Gardner Jr., 30, must spend the rest of his life in prison after the nine-woman, three man jury found him guilty.

A Shreveport man charged with second-degree murder in connection with a February 2020 shooting death pleaded guilty to the slaying.

Caddo Grand Jury indicted Ray on those Second Degree Murder charges. They also handed down indictments for 3 other people.

Shreveport Police officers were called to the 100 block of Lake Street on reports of a dead man located in a parking garage.

After two months without a homicide, violence broke out on Labor Day (9/5/22) in Shreveport.

Responding officers located a female suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds.

Responding officers located Christopher Lee suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Three indictments were in connection with recent homicides, with one of those carrying an added weapons charge.

On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, The Caddo Grand Jury returned four indictments.
