Louisiana fans of certain brands of workout wear are being cautioned about "feeling the burn". No, not the exercise kind of burn. This one leaves a mark.

As a safety precaution, classes at Doyline High School are being dismissed.

An out-of-control wildfire in the heart of town kept multiple fire agencies busy into late last evening.  Shreveport Firefighters, with the help of at least five Caddo Fire Districts spent much of yesterday battling a wildfire that threatened homes and businesses in south-central Shreveport.

A woman who was scorned by her ex-boyfriend was arrested on Monday for burning down the cabin where he lived, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.  Brenda Fore was arrested for setting fire to a bed inside the cedar cabin located on a farm in Blanchard's Nob Hill subdivision. The fire destroyed the cabin, causing damage estimated at $30,000.
