BSO detectives recently arrested 3 juveniles for arson for their involvement in the destruction of two barns full of hay bales in South Bossier.

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry said the massive Vernon Parish fire was caused by an arsonist, and they are seeking help identifying the culprit.

Investigators were able to make an arrest after surveillance video was viewed and persons of interest were interviewed.

Burnett admitted to officials from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office, that he had set the fire after his grandfather refused to give him forty dollars that he wanted.

At 5:14a.m. Thursday (7/1/21) morning a call came in for a fire on the 6500 block of Tulsa Avenue.
