Sexual Assault at a Party Leads to Arrest of Shreveport Man

SHREVEPORT, LA

Just after 9:45 p.m. on April 19, 2025, Shreveport police showed up at a house on Sunnybrook in response to a call about a fight. When the officers got there, things were pretty chaotic. After talking to several witnesses and conducting further investigations, the officers pieced together what happened.

Apparently, a woman at a party went to use the bathroom, and a guy, identified as Alex Jackson, allegedly followed her in without her okay. The woman said that Jackson, who seemed drunk, started sexually harassing her by trying to touch her inappropriately and wouldn't leave the bathroom even after she told him to.

Several people who were there said they saw the woman go into the bathroom by herself and then noticed a physical argument after she came out.

Following their investigation, the police arrested Alex Jackson for sexual battery. He was taken to the Shreveport City Jail. The case is still being actively looked into.
