A hog that has regularly visited a southeast Shreveport neighborhood is now in the custody of the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.  Deputies are trying to locate its owner after it was picked up in the Hidden Trace subdivision near Norris Ferry and Pueblo roads on April 27th.  Residents say the hog would routinely come from the woods and wander through the neighborhood.  One resident captured the hog and penned it in his backyard until sheriff’s deputies could be notified.  Deputies have canvassed the area but have been unable to find the hog’s owner.

Anyone who knows who it may belong to should contact Sgt. Doyle Smith at 681-1120.
