A cold front is headed toward Louisiana and we could see some severe weather with this storm system.

State Climatologist Barry Keim says most of the state is under the threat of tornadoes, hail and damaging winds. He says Shreveport Bossier and Monroe will see heavy rain and possible storms this afternoon. The rest of the state will get the storms tomorrow.

Keim says the front is relatively slow moving but it won’t bring much cold air with it. He says we will still see warm temperatures much of the weekend. The storms are expected to arrive in Shreveport Bossier at about 3pm Friday.
