Here's a closer look at the numbers:

Louisiana - 6,904
Arkansas - 808
Texas - 740

But power is just one of the problems this storm caused. Shreveport saw record breaking rainfall totals. The numbers at the National Weather Service show Shreveport got 4.53 inches. The old record was 2.2 inches set back in 2016.

Some areas did see some flash flooding as the rains were pouring down. Most of those areas are clear now. There were also dozens of wrecks around the city during the storm.

We could also see more storms in the region today.  The Weather Channel says we have a chance of scattered showers this afternoon.
