Shreveport City Councilwoman Stephanie Lynch talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about her frustrations with the mayor and what she sees as her inability to provide city services.

Lynch, commenting on complaints about the lack of regular mowing on the city's 3132 roadway, says, "I've sent hundreds of emails of worse conditions in my district to public works with little to no consistent results.'

The councilwoman says the real problems facing the city "are not some grass on a state highway. This past holiday weekend I sent fifty or sixty emails about bulk (trash) pickup that the city had not taken care of. I didn't even include all of Mooretown. It was just one section."

Lynch is also critical of Mayor Ollie Tyler: "Somebody has to be held accountable.Where the buck starts, where it stops, it really doesn't matter to me. But somebody is going to be held accountable for this."
