SPD To Promote Five Today

Five Shreveport Police officers will be promoted by Chief of Police Willie Shaw Today, Friday, April 29, 2011. The ceremony will be held in the Assembly Room, located on the second floor of the Shreveport Police Complex, and will begin at 1:30 p.m. The officers to be promoted are as follows:

Lieutenant William F. Offer, Jr. will be promoted to captain. Offer joined the department in August of 1984.

Sergeant Guy A. Smith will be promoted to lieutenant. Smith joined the department in September of 1988.

Sergeant James E. Bellotte will be promoted to lieutenant. Bellotte joined the department in February of 1989.

Cpl. Staycy Doolittle will be promoted to sergeant. Doolittle joined the department in August of 1994.

Cpl. Gerald Fletcher will be promoted to sergeant. Fletcher joined the department in August of 1994.
