Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his appointment, the process and his plans for the department.

In Part 2 of his two part interview the Chief discusses the recent controversy involving an SPD cruiser, missing for two weeks, being found in the woods in east Texas and his plans for the department now that he is officially in charge.

Raymond also talks about plans to target the city's high crime neighborhoods, including the implementation of police substations, and his role is the campaign to pass the $186 million bond, coming up on the ballot for Shreveport voters in November.
