SPAR Pools Closing Schedules

If you wanna take a dip in the pool...you're running out of time. Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation and Rock Solid Sports officials say swimming pools at Airport Park, David Raines and Querbes will officially close after Sunday, August 5th. The Bill Cockrell pool will close after Sunday, August 12th. The Southern Hills pool will stay open through Sunday, September 19th, but from the 14th through the 19th, the hours will be 4 to 7 p.m.

SPAR's seven sprayground areas will remain open through the warm-weather season. Those are at Airport Park, David Raines, Hattie Perry, Lakeside and Querbes Community Centers, and AC Steere and Riverview Park. Those are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, except for Riverview Park. That one's open from 7 a.m. til 1 a.m.
