Sign Installation Work Means Traffic Tie-ups on I-220

Some overnight sign installation work will tie up I-220 for a little while beginning Sunday, April 12, 2015.

Louisiana DOTD says we can expect intermittent outside lane closures on I-220 E and W from the I-20 interchange in Bossier to the Red River between 8:15PM and 6:15AM for about 12 days.

The westbound lanes will be closed from I-20 to Shed Road from 11PM to 4AM, along with Exit 26, the exit ramp from I-20 to I-220 W, and the I-220 W onramp from East Texas Street.

Westbound and eastbound I-20 to westbound I-220 traffic will be detoured at Airline Drive.

All this work will be done weather permitting. DOTD reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
