Shreveport Woman Speaks Out About Assault at Gas Station

A local woman, KC Davis joined The Robert & Erin show Friday (9/3/21) morning to talk with Erin and Scott Hughes about her experience. Davis was the one who filmed a man with a gun at a Line Avenue Circle K. The frightening video can be seen HERE.

Davis told KEEL that she was just stopping to get her husband a drink from the Circle K when the events unfolded. Davis says, the three people in front of her had gotten in to an argument over one of them being carded for tobacco products. Davis noted that the cashier was pregnant and became worried for the safety of the woman and her unborn child.

The situation escalated when one of the men in the group pulled out a gun. Davis then got the attention of the man with the gun, and took out her phone to start filming. Just then, 21 year old Jakoby Frazier can be seen on the video flashing his gun at Davis as he approaches her. Frazier then took his gun and hit Davis in the arm, knocking her phone from her hand, breaking it.

Davis is being hailed by many locals as a hero for defusing the situation.

21 year old Jakoby Frazier was later arrested, and is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and illegal carrying of weapons.

After this interview, a group of Marines contacted KEEL trying to get KC Davis's information. The group is planning to help Davis replace her damaged phone and take her and her husband out to a nice dinner.
