SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport police arrest a woman after she allegedly stabbed a male victim.

On August 29th, 2023, Shreveport Police officers were called to a residence in the 3500 block of West College Street on reports of a stabbing. Patrol officers arrived and located a male victim who reportedly was attacked by a female suspect. Officers were also able to identify the suspected aggressor in the incident and take her into custody. The victim declined medical attention.

Officers determined that Cearita Reliford (10-7-70) reportedly stabbed the victim in the leg as he attempted to break up a fight between two females. Reliford was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated battery.

We are required to state that suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
