Shreveport Weekend Shooting Sends One to Hospital

One person arrived at Willis Knighton North Hospital after getting shot Sunday (1/9/22) evening. The victim arrived at the Emergency Room by a private vehicle. The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to his body. According to police, the patient arrived at the hospital around 11:04 p.m.

SPD had 3 units at this hospital, trying to learn where the shooting took place. The victim was transported to Ochsner Health Hospital by Emergency Medical Services to be treated for his injuries. Officers are working hard to get whoever is responsible for this shooting behind bars.
