Shreveport Teenager Faces Five Rape Charges

A Caddo Parish Grand Jury has indicted a local man on five counts of first-degree rape.

18-year-old Shavaygo V'Shun Washington is currently locked up in the Caddo Correctional Center. No details about the crimes have been released because the indictment was sealed due to the nature of the criminal acts.

Bond has been set at $250,000 on each count.

If convicted, Washington could face life in prison without parole on each count.
