Streets Most Likely to Flood in Shreveport-Bossier
Shreveport got about 3" of rain on Wednesday of this week and more rain is expected in the next couple of days. We could get between 1 and 3" today. These storms are likely to cause even more problems on the roads.
Police and fire crews were busy on Wednesday with several high water rescues in Shreveport. Despite all the warnings, too many people still try to risk it and drive through high water. Often, you are likely to lose that battle and your car will stall out. Not only will this ruin your day, but you will probably be facing expensive repairs to your car.
We know there are some areas that are prone to flooding when we get some fast moving storms that dump a ton of rain on the area.
