Shreveport Man Arrested for Stabbing Family Member
Shreveport Police have arrested 58-year-old Christopher Connor in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the 2800 block of Jackson Street at approximately 7:00 a.m. Friday (8/2/24) morning.
Officers responded to the scene and found that Connor had been involved in an altercation with a family member, during which he used a pocketknife to stab the victim in the lower body. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
Connor has been arrested for one count of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon. Additionally, it was discovered that Connor has three outstanding warrants.
The Shreveport Police Department continues to emphasize the importance of de-escalating such situations to prevent incidents of violence within our community.
