Shreveport Police Search for Murder Suspects

Shreveport police are looking for two men who sprayed a door full of bullets, killing a man during a possible home invasion robbery last night.

Police spokesman Marcus Hines told KEEL News the men were trying to get into a house in the 4000 block of Virginia Avenue and the homeowner wouldn't let them in, so they fired.

Jason Williams, 32, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to LSU-Health, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects left the scene on foot. They are both described as black males, five feet nine to six feet tall, weighing 160 to 200 pounds.
