Shreveport Police are currently trying to track down 2 men who attempted to break in to home in Shreveport. The incident occurred shortly after 1am Thursday (9/30/21) on Pines Road.

 

A man woke up to strange sounds at his front door. After arming himself with a gun, he went to check on the noise. Upon opening the front door, the man claims 2 black men tried to rush in to the home. The man occupying the home fired several shots at the men trying to rush him.

The 2 men were able to run away and escape in a white sedan. No word on if the men were wounded in the exchange.
