Chief Wayne Smith promoted three jailors and two vehicle technicians in a ceremony held at the Shreveport Police Complex this afternoon.

Provisional Jail Superintendent Inetta Adams was officially appointed as Jail Superintendent, becoming the first woman to ever serve as the commander of the Shreveport City Jail. She has been serving since May 1993.
