Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Home Invasion

On April 17th, 2023, around 9:50 p.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were to a burglary in progress in the 1600 block of Gentilly Drive. The caller told dispatchers that a female entered his residence and was threatening to shoot the residence occupants.

Officers arrived and contacted Michelle Berg (2-9-83) and discovered that Berg had entered the residence without consent, threatened the victim, and damaged the property. Further investigation discovered multiple facts and circumstances that led to the arrest of Berg.

After responding officers conducted their investigation Berg was arrested for Two counts of Home Invasion, and one count of Property Damage.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
