SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport police are asking for the public's help in location a violent domestic abuse suspect.

On April 11th, 2023, around 9:10 a.m. Shreveport Police officers were called to the 2300 block of Meadow Drive in reference domestic incident. Arriving officers notated that the victim had visible injuries. The victim reported that Nicholas Parks (6-13-99) entered her family’s home without consent and attacked her using force taking her phone and a handgun belonging to her.

Further investigation revealed that Parks reportedly entered the residence wearing latex gloves, pointed the victim’s handgun at the victim, and then demanded that she give him the password to her cellular phone. The suspect was no longer present when the officers arrived. The incident also occurred in the presence of children. The victim is expected to recover.

On May 25th, 2023, Detectives with the Shreveport Police Domestic Violence Unit obtained warrants for Nicholas Parks arrest for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, one count of Home Invasion, one count of Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault, two counts of Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault with Child Endangerment, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

At this time Parks is still outstanding. We are asking for assistance from the public to capture this violent suspect.
