
Shreveport Police Arrest 3 Men with Armory

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police arrest three men arrested with an armory of weapons, including a machine gun.
On July 7th, 2023, around 8:00 a.m. members of the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Abatement Team and Shreveport Police Community Response Units conducted a follow-up investigation at a residence in the 3300 block of Ironwood Drive in reference to reports of illegal activity. Officers discovered three males attempting to hide inside a bedroom of the home.
During the investigation officers located five assault rifles, a handgun, and a small amount of narcotics. Further investigation revealed that one of the firearms was altered to be considered fully automatic. Cardavious Scott (11-26-2001), Pharaon Jackson (10-9-03), and Demond Baber (9-24-01) were all arrested and charged with Possession of a Machine Gun, Illegal Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Schedule one.
The investigation into these offenders is ongoing.
The law does not define these offenses as violent under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:2 therefore mugshots are not releasable. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
