
Shreveport Police Fight with Naked Man Leads to Arrest
A late-night disturbance in West Shreveport ended in a physical struggle and the arrest of a local man Friday night. Shreveport Police officers were called to the intersection of Hearne Avenue and Lakeshore Drive at approximately 11:31 p.m. following reports of a nude man obstructing traffic and behaving obscenely in the roadway.
Pursuit and Physical Altercation
Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers spotted the suspect, identified as Karandalous Burns, in the parking lot of a liquor store on the northwest corner of the busy intersection. According to department spokespeople, the situation escalated quickly when officers attempted to initiate contact.

Burns reportedly fled on foot, leading police on a short pursuit before physically engaging with the officers. The encounter turned into a violent struggle as the suspect allegedly resisted arrest with physical force. Despite the intensity of the altercation, backup arrived to help in successfully detaining the individual.
Charges and Medical Evaluation
Following the struggle, the Shreveport Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to evaluate Burns for minor injuries sustained during his resistance. No police officers reported serious injuries from the scuffle.

Burns was subsequently transported to the Shreveport City Jail and faces the following charges:
- One count of Obscenity
- One count of Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence
The intersection was cleared shortly after the arrest, and the investigation remains active as authorities finalize their reports on the incident.
