Late last week, Shreveport Police responded to a battery incident at Super 1 Foods on Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.

According to SPD, a store employee confronted a woman in the store when the situation quickly turned violent. The suspect bit the employee's hand and scratched their face before fleeing the scene.

Using security footage and investigative efforts, officers quickly identified TaBrittany Anderson as the suspect. Officers later located Anderson at a home on Burke Street, where she was taken into custody.

Anderson has been charged with the following:

Simple Robbery

• Simple Battery

Further investigation showed Anderson also had 13 traffic warrants.

The employee sustained minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery
