Shreveport Mom Calls Police on Her Sons After Finding Stolen Gun

Shreveport Police arrested two teens after a mother called to report that her sons were threatening her because she had found a gun in their room.

The mother stayed on the phone with 911 dispatch as the incident unfolded. She reported that one of her sons had broken windows in a fit of rage and that she was holding a hammer to defend herself.

A neighbor also called 911 and told dispatch that the juveniles were attacking their mother.

Both juveniles fled on foot when SPD showed up at the scene. Following a short chase, Officers took them into custody.

The 17 year-old, Trevion Clarkson, was found in possession of a stolen firearm. He was arrested for illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, possession of a stolen firearm, and resisting an officer. The 15 year-old also faces charges.
