A Shreveport man who was scheduled to stand trial this week for a 2011 homicide has avoided a jury trial by pleading guilty.  36-year-old Mickey Cade has pled guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery in connection with a home invasion in the 200 block of Prospect.  Judge Ramona Emanuel has sentenced Cade to 30 years in prison on each count and ordered the sentences to be served concurrently.

Cade's co-defendant, 19-year-old Jacobi Parker, pled guilty to the same charges last week and is now awaiting sentencing.
