A Shreveport man who was arrested last week for sexually abusing a teen-aged boy is now facing more charges.

61-year-old Joseph Michael Kurz was arrested July 11th for indecent behavior with a juvenile.  After news reports aired about his arrest, five additional victims came forward to say that they were abused by Kurz between 1969 and 1985.  At the time of the alleged abuse, the victims ranged in age from four to fourteen.

However, because of the length of time that has passed in some of the cases, Kurz could only be charged with one additional crime.  He was re-arrested today on a charge of aggravated rape.  Kurz had bonded out of jail on the original charge.  His bond on the new charge is set at $250,000.
