SHREVEPORT, LA- Man arrested by Shreveport Police for violent sex offense
Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Detectives have arrested Dexter Giles (6-8-84) for one count of 2nd Degree Rape, one count of 2nd Degree Battery, and two counts of false imprisonment stemming from an incident reporting in June of 2023.
Shreveport Police Detectives were able to develop information to obtain warrants for his arrest and on October 5th, 2023, Officers were able to locate Giles and take him into custody.
If convicted, Giles could face up to 40 years in prison. We are required to remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
