Shreveport Man Arrested for Burglary & Sex Crimes

SHREVEPORT, LA-    Burglar and Sex Offender Arrested

Shreveport Police Department have arrested 54-year-old Christopher White Jr., who is accused of a burglary as well as failure to register as a sex offender.

The burglary occurred on September 25, 2024, around 5:00 AM at United Liquor, located on the 800 block of Pierre Ave. White is alleged to have damaged the property and stolen alcohol, tobacco products, over-the-counter medications, and loose change from the register while the business was closed. Detectives have arrested White for burglary.

Additionally, SPD Sex Crimes detectives have also arrested White for failure to register as a sex offender. He is classified as a violent sex offender and is considered dangerous.
