SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police arrest man after he threatens his roommate with a knife

On August 8th, 2023, at 2:41 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of an assault and battery in the 400 block of Jordan Street. Responding officers found that a male was reportedly armed with a knife.

Further investigation revealed that William Collins (2-21-93) was involved in a dispute with a roommate inside of the residence. Collins reportedly produced a knife and threaten to injure the victim.

Collins was arrested by patrol officers and charged with one count of aggravated assault. No persons were injured in this incident.

We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty
