Shreveport Man Arrested After Strangulation Altercation
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police arrest man in Domestic Incident
On April 5, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3600 block of Lakeland Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a domestic dispute involving 49-year-old Adam Rowe and a female at the location.
During the altercation, it was reported that Rowe attempted to strangle the female in the presence of two juveniles. As a result, Adam Rowe has been arrested and charged with one count of domestic abuse battery by strangulation and two counts of domestic abuse with child endangerment.
Chief Wayne Smith wants citizens to know that our dedicated detectives work tirelessly to hold perpetrators accountable and provide support to victims.
The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone who may have other instances of domestic violence to come forward and assist in the ongoing efforts to combat this pervasive issue in our community.
