A local restaurant popular with their clientele recently announced via a Facebook post that they are closing their doors.  Well-Fed Louisiana in the Highland area of Shreveport announced on Wednesday morning that March 2nd will be their final day.

Dear Valued Customers and North Louisiana Community, 

After seven incredible years serving out community on Egan St., we are writing with a heavy heart to announce the upcoming closure of Well Fed La. March 2nd will mark our final day of operation. 

The decision was not made lightly, and it comes with a mix of emotions. Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of your lives, celebrating milestones, and sharing in the joy of good food and great company. We are immensely grateful for the support and patronage you’ve shown us. 

As we navigate these last two months, we kindly ask for your continued support. Yor visits, kind works, and shared memories have fueled our passion for creating a warm and welcoming space for all. Please join us in making these final weeks a celebration of the moments we’ve shared. 

Whether you’ve been a loyal customer from the beginning or just discovered us recently, your presence has been the heartbeat of Well Fed LA. As we embark on this farewell journey, we hope to see familiar faces and create lasting memories together.

Well Fed Louisiana is a locally owned business that offers vegan and gluten free foods including sandwiches, burgers, salads, smoothies and baked goods.  Although I'm not a vegan, I know you don't have to have meat every meal, and it makes me sad to see another locally owned, family business close its doors in Shreveport.

If you've never tried their products, Well Fed Louisiana is located behind Monjuni's on Louisiana Ave on Egan St., and will be open through March 2nd.
