Multiple Shreveport Arrests in Human Trafficking, Sexual Assault of Juvenile
The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) has announced multiple arrests in connection with the human trafficking and sexual assault of a 14-year-old juvenile.
The victim, who was originally reported as a runaway from New Jersey, was safely located by Shreveport officers. An ongoing investigation, spearheaded by the SPD's Juvenile Services Detectives, Sex Crimes Unit, and Vice Unit, has led to charges against three individuals, with more charges anticipated.
Investigation Details and Initial Arrests
Following the safe recovery of the juvenile, detectives launched an investigation that revealed the victim had been involved in a violent sexual incident with multiple suspects. The initial focus led to an arrest warrant for Daiquan Blackman.
