
Shreveport Police Arrest Four Felons With Firearms
The Shreveport Police Department contacted several violent offenders armed with firearms this weekend. The following offenders were arrested and charged after being found to be convicted felons armed with firearms after being prohibited.
Officers arrested Andre Ealy (5-9-97) on September 5th around 1:204a.m. after he was contacted on a traffic stop in the 7000 block of Red Fox Trail. He was found to be a convicted felon armed with a firearm and the firearm was also found to be stolen.
Officers arrested Sanchise Nicholson (12-26-85) on September 2nd around 3:34 a.m. after he was found to be a convicted felon armed with a firearm during a traffic stop and Caddo Street and Spring Street.
Officers arrested Roderrick Butler (7-15-91) on September 2nd around 3:08 a.m. after he was found to have been playing with a firearm and accidentally shot himself. He was found to be a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Officers arrested Brandon Brown (7-18-96) on September 1st around 8:17 p.m. after officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 4500 block of Rightway Avenue. Brown was contacted by officers and found to have a concealed firearm. Further investigation revealed he was a convicted felon.
All Firearms were seized as evidence.
All are considered innocent until proven guilty.
