The Shreveport Police Department has arrested Warren Williams, 29, on a series of charges following a vehicle chase that occurred on June 2 at approximately 5 p.m. Officers attempted to stop Williams as he was operating a vehicle that had been reported stolen. However, Williams refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit.

After the chase, Williams was found to be in possession of a firearm. Due to prior felony convictions, Williams is prohibited from owning or carrying a firearm.

Williams faces the following charges:

- Aggravated flight from an officer

- Illegal possession of stolen things (felony grade)

- Resisting an officer

- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle

- Felon in possession of a firearm

The Shreveport Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our community and will continue to take swift action against those who break the law.
