The market is open on Saturdays through August 29th. The hours are 8am to 1pm. New procedures are being put in place to ensure the health and safety of vendors and guests.

Here is the Mission Statement of the local Farmer's Market:

The mission of Shreveport Farmers’ Market is to encourage a strong local food system; increase sustainability of independent local farmers, ranchers, and food producers; and foster stewardship of land and community through a public market.

The layout of the market is changing to account for social distancing guidelines. There will also be two hand washing stations set up and several spots where hand sanitizer will be available.

Vendors are also putting practices in place to minimize all contact with customers. The vendors will also be wearing masks and will sanitize regularly.

In the East Pavilion you can snap up veggies, fruits, herbs, plants, honey, and meats that are grown right here in our area. Some of the other treats you'll find are breads, locally made soaps, seasonings, pickles salsas and much more.

The market will also have a Food Row where you can find food ready to eat meals from waffles to shrimp and grits.
Because of space limitations, the market does have this message:
We are asking that one member per family does the shopping -- at least for now -- to maximize capacity and ensure everyone is able to get fresh groceries.
