Shreveport Man Arrested for Domestic Violence
The Shreveport Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit has arrested Kiwaun Ladale Wise, 37, for a physical assault that took place on August 1st. The victim reported that after a planned date, Wise became upset and attacked her. The assault allegedly involved being struck in the face and pushed to the ground, and officers documented visible injuries at the scene.
Investigation and Arrest
Detectives initiated a thorough investigation, which revealed that Wise has a history of arrests and prior convictions related to family violence. Based on the evidence gathered, Wise was taken into custody on August 11, 2025.
He has been charged with one count of Battery of a Dating Partner and one count of Battery of a Dating Partner – Second Offense. The Shreveport Police Department is committed to investigating and prosecuting domestic violence cases and urges victims to seek help.
