Shreveport Man Arrested for Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile

Over the weekend, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation involving a 14-year-old victim.

19-year-old Tylen Turner allegedly arrived at the victim's residence around 3:00 a.m. while the victim's parent was asleep inside the home. The parents discovered what was happening, and contacted the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. Patrol deputies got to the scene but were told that the suspect had already fled before their arrival.

Detectives continued the investigation with assistance from patrol deputies and identified Tylen Turner as the suspect.

Detectives gathered evidence showing inappropriate electronic communications between the suspect and the juvenile victim. The Judge issued a search warrant for the victim's cell phone.

A forensic examination of the device revealed evidence relevant to the case, including information supporting the suspect's presence at the home and allegations of sexual contact between the two.

Turner was arrested and charged with Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. He was taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.
