Shreveport Police Arrest Two for Burglary and Theft
Shreveport Police Department officers responded to reports of two men who were believed to be involved in a burglary on Mansfield Road.
When SPD got to the scene, they detained Kane Spence and Joshua Stringer. During the investigation, an SPD Officer returned to the business on Mansfield Road that had been burglarized the day before and made contact with an employee who was able to identify both men as the suspects involved in the burglary.
Both Spence and Stringer were taken into custody. Officers located things from the business that had been stolen during the burglary, which were still in the men's possession and were sealed.
Both suspects were taken to the Shreveport City Jail where they were booked on charges of Simple Burglary and Theft.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department reminds the public that crimes against businesses will be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible will be held accountable."
