SFD K-9 Team Rescues Lost Child

The Shreveport Fire Department's K-9 Search and Rescue Team was called out to assist the Caddo Sheriff’s Office early this morning in the search for a lost one-year-old child.  They responded to 13465 Shady Oak Lane at 2:56 am and were advised that the child was lost in the woods. Two search dogs began the search and found the child at 4:11 am.  The one-year-old male appeared to have no serious injuries. The child was transported by Caddo Fire District #6 ambulance at 4:53 am to the LSU Health emergency room for medical evaluation.
