[UPDATE] Thunderstorm Watch for Shreveport Bossier Expires, but New One Issued for Other Areas
The National Weather Service has issued a new severe thunderstorm watch for part of the region until midnight.
The previous watch which included Caddo and Bossier Parishes has expired.
The new watch includes the following parishes in our region: Bienville, De Soto,
Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster. It also includes Angelina, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties in Northeast Texas.
This includes the towns of Arcadia, Center, Coushatta, Gibsland, Logansport, Mansfield, Many, Martin, Minden, Natchitoches, Pleasant Hill, Ringgold, Springhill, Stonewall and Zwolle.
The NWS says the storm system is expected tonight across East Texas and North Louisiana. A few tornadoes, damaging wind, and large hail is possible.
