Proof of Vaccine Might Be Required at Saints Games
You might have to be vaccinated to watch the Saints play in the Superdome. WWL reports the team is considering such a policy for the upcoming season. The team will be allowed to sell all of the seats and pack the dome for all home games, but there is still some concern about the virus spreading at an indoor facility.
Superdome Commission Chairman Kyle France tells the TV station it all depends on COVID-19 vaccination rates and how close the metro area is to herd immunity. He says “We’re not there yet.” But France is optimistic.
He did add that there has been some discussion about requiring a proof of vaccination to attend the games. But says no final decision has been made on that front, yet.
The first home game of the year for the Saints is on September 12 against the Green Bay Packers.
