Wednesday was National Equal Pay Day which marks the pay gap between what men and women make in America. U.S. census data shows that women, on average, make 82 cents for every dollar earned by men. But the numbers are much worse for Black women. They earn 63 cents on the dollar as compared to what men make. Latina women earn just 55 cents compared to what men make. The latest reports also show a gender pay gap in 94% of all jobs.

President Biden says "My administration is going to fight for equal pay. .It's about justice, it's about fairness, it's about living up to our values, who we are as nation. Equal pay makes all of us stronger."

Fox News reports we mark Equal Pay Day on a different day in the U.S. every year because it marks how many more days a woman has to work to catch up to the pay of her male counterparts.
