NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The White House said Saturday that President Joe Biden plans two stops in Louisiana next week to rally support for his proposed infrastructure plan. According to the statement, Biden is scheduled to visit New Orleans and Lake Charles on Thursday as part of the Getting America Back on Track Tour. Gov. John Bel Edwards tweeted Saturday that he is excited to welcome the president back to Louisiana to discuss improving infrastructure, hurricane recovery and the COVID crisis. The president's plan would rebuild roads and bridges, bolster public education, create more than a million new jobs and would be funded by higher corporate taxes.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
