Pregnant Haughton Woman Shot

Bossier Sheriff's deputies are currently working a shooting on Academy Lane in Haughton.  The victim is a 21 year-old, 7-months-pregnant, white female.  The shooter appears to have been her 22-year-old white male boyfriend.  The call came in at 8:49 p.m. from the female's neighbor. Medics have transported the victim to LSU Health Sciences Center. She appears to have been shot in the shoulder area. Deputies are still working to determine whether the shooting was accidental or on purpose.
