Bill Wiener Jr. Estate Sale On Longleaf In South Highlands

I can not even begin to accurately describe all the amazing items that are on sale this weekend at a local estate sale. This is the sale of property at the Bill Wiener Jr. home on Longleaf in South Highlands.

At this sale you will find unique and one-of-a kind pieces of art and furnishings.

The estate of William B. “Bill” Wiener Jr. will be opened for a two-day estate sale at the which runs Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bill Wiener Artwork Among Items for Sale

If you knew Bill, you know he loved art and he created many of his own pieces. Lots of folks talked about his outdoor sculptures and those will be some of the first pieces snapped up during this sale. This is described as a “hybrid estate sale,” because some of the high dollar items are being sold in an online auction.

Most items at the home will be sold on site on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dozens and dozens of smaller tabletop metal sculptures by Wiener are up for grabs in the online auction. You will also find other pieces done by Samuel G. Wiener Sr. and Samuel G. Wiener Jr. in that online sale.

Online bidding has already started and the deadline is Saturday at 3pm.

Prices at the Shreveport Home

All items will be at full price through Friday, but the prices drop 25% on Saturday morning from 10-noon. And then at 1pm all prices will be slashed by 50%.

Auction pieces are on display inside the Wiener House, giving bidders an opportunity to inspect the artwork before bidding. You must pick up the items.

Shuttle Available for Wiener Estate Sale

There is very limited parking near the home on Longleaf and the street will be closed for the sale. But free shuttles will be running from First Baptist Church.

Caddo Sheriff’s deputies will be providing security.
