Police Seek Information on West Shreveport Homicide

SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport Police are asking for your help in solving a West Shreveport homicide that happened early Saturday morning.  On July 15th, 2023, at 3:08 a.m. Shreveport Police Officers were called to respond to a shooting in the 4000 block of Wallace Street. Arriving officers located two people suffering from injuries sustained during a shooting. One of the victims was declared deceased on the scene by the Shreveport Fire Department. The Shreveport Fire Department transported the other victim to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene to collect evidence. The investigation into this homicide is ongoing and we will update as information becomes available.
